The Amazon Kindle Voyage
Overview
The new member in the family Amazon Kindle Voyage has get some upgrades to enhance your reading experience. If you compare the device with its previous sibling Kindle Paperwhite, the Voyage offers better and firm grip with one hand. It is so lightweight that you can use the device even with one hand and hold it for longer time even.Kindle has improved its display this time and Voyage has a brighter 300PPI display which is sharper and clearer than Paperwhite. It comes with an ambient light sensor, which for the first time, automatically adjusts the brightness of display. The Nightlight feature of the reader lets you to read your favorite book in night as well. It gradually reduces the screen brightness over time as your eyes adjust to the dark.

Kindle Voyage also has PagePress, a dot and line at both left and right sides of display which let you turn the pages by simply tapping on them. Of course you can still turn pages by tapping on the left and right edges but PagePress is useful when you’re holding the Kindle in one hand. When you tap on the PagePress the device provides feedback by gently vibrating. Kindle allows you to customize the level of feedback – low, medium, or high. You can also customize the amount of pressure required to trigger PagePress.
The Amazon Kindle Voyage has the similar Paperwhite software with some new features. Among all the notable features are Family Library that allows family members to share ebooks with each other, but unfortunately it is not available at the moment and will be rolled out via a software update.
It has the Wi-Fi connectivity so that you can browse your books from the Amazon store. Also it has built-in Internet browser that allows you to use the same device for net surfing, but on a black & white display. Amazon brings slim and form-fitting covers for the Kindle that provide full front and back protection. The cover automatically puts the Kindle into sleep mode when it is closed and wakes it upon opening.
The amazing part of the device is that, you can run it for weeks without recharging (depends on your reading habits). In our test, it lasted for about 12 hours over Wi-Fi.
Features
The Amazon Kindle Voyage has a 6-inch screen too, with a 300 dpi display, the same as the new Paperwhite but better than older generations. It's still a touchscreen device, but there are left and right page switching pressure-sensitive buttons on the bezel. These are built into the frame but they are pressure sensitive, so you to apply some pressure to use them. There's also a very subtle vibration feedback when you press on it. It's not distracting, but it feels just about right. The Voyage too has a lighting component, like the Paperwhite, that can be adjusted using the on-screen interface. The other features are the same standard ones as the Paperwhite. Pages can be flipped using the touchscreen as well, and bookmarks added by tapping the right top of the screen. Holding down a word brings up the definition for it. Page rendering customisation options exist as well, so you can choose from a selection of tasteful fonts, line spacing and margins so make the most of the screen space. Goodreads support is present too, so your reading habits can be made social and you can get recommendations on what books to read next. Our Paperwhite is a good place to read about these features on length.

Reading Experience
The Kindle Voyage offered sharper text and crisper images than either the Paperwhite or the GlowLight. Page turns were instantaneous and pretty much identical to the Kindle Paperwhite.Although I've always preferred buttons to tapping or swiping, I found PagePress easy to use. In the settings, you can manually adjust both the amount of pressure required to turn a page and the amount of haptic feedback you get from pressing. You can also turn the page by tapping or swiping on the display. It also made the e-reader comfortable to hold with one hand. Simply holding my finger over the button didn't advance the pages on accident.
Amazon also adds some unique features to enhance the reading experience on all its e-readers.
Upcoming Features
Amazon plans to roll out an update this fall that will add more features to this already impressive e-reader. Word Wise, designed for those who are learning to read, automatically displays very short and simple definitions above difficult words. You can adjust how the device determines the difficulty level of the words by moving a slider
